Copenhagen Edit: Where to Eat, Shop and Stay
The full breakdown of 72 magical hours spent finding the best vintage that I almost gatekept and cozy pastries in one of my favorite cities.
Copenhagen has quickly become one of my favorite cities. It’s just easy. One of those places that feels familiar the second you arrive.
Everyone’s friendly, the city is walkable, everything looks like a page from a design magazine and now, I can safely say, it’s up there as a favorite food city. We didn’t have a single mediocre meal.
And don’t even get me started on the vintage. One win after another, with tons of well-curated shops and unexpected finds.
STAY
25Hours Hotel Indre By
This hotel is colorful, a little quirky, and felt like a playful contrast to the sleek minimalism happening around the city. It wasn’t super service-heavy, but the location couldn’t have been better—right in the center of town, surrounded by cafes, shops, and all the walking you want to do.
Also looked at: Grand Joanne — bookmarked for next time.

EATS
Coffee
April Coffee - Obviously this one called to me for a reason. Jk—this is one of our friends' favorite spots that they took us to. Clean & minimal in the best way, and some of the best coffee in the city according to most.
Prolog - Sit outside, grab an iced latte and a cardamom bun. An ideal midday stop.
La Cabra - Thoughtful coffee, beautiful pastries. A great slow morning spot.
Breakfast/Brunch
Sonny - Our first proper meal in the city—and a perfect one to sit outside. Easygoing atmosphere, great coffee, and fresh, simple food that set the tone for the rest of the trip. Get the eggs – honestly, everywhere – but definitely here.
Amator - A tiny, cozy spot where we had the best omelets and an insanely good bowl of brothy saffron beans. Make a reservation because there’s a limited amount of seats here. Quiet and unfussy, but everything tasted so vibrant.
Studio Kitchen - Our friends went here before we arrived and said we had to go back. I’m so glad they did, because these might’ve been the best eggs we had. So light and fluffy, and the crunchy Caesar salad (!!) somehow worked perfectly as a breakfast side. All of the baked goods were incredible, but I got the most insane apple cinnamon muffin right out of the oven and wow.
